14U Equipment Rule Change
Attention parents in the 14U age division,
In an effort to improve the fields for the upcoming baseball season, the NYAA baseball league has invested money into new portable pitching mounds for the 10U, 12U and 14U fields. In order to maintain these mounds properly, pitchers will not be allowed to wear metal cleats. Plastic molded cleats and typical athletic shoes will be allowed on these mounds.
Metal cleats will still be allowed in the 14U division by any other position player. Please follow these new guidelines and help us protect these new investments that should improve the quality of baseball.
